As a native Texan and long time Austinite, Dr. McClure has spent the last decade practicing emergency medicine in central Texas and abroad. Dr. McClure currently keeps busy working as a traveling emergency veterinarian providing care at emergency facilities across multiple states. In addition to her emergency work, Dr. McClure has also spent time working at a high-quality practice in South Austin providing routine wellness care.
With her own high maintenance pets, Dr. McClure has spent her fair share of time on both sides of the exam table. She understands the stress felt by both pet and pet parent alike when routine, specialty, and emergency veterinary care is needed. She has been privileged enough to be able to provide veterinary care at home for her own pets for years. She has experienced first hand the benefit of in-home low-stress vet care. It is out of the desire to share these benefits to her patients that Dr. McClure has expanded her medical services to provide personalized pet wellness from the comfort of your home.
Dr. McClure has a special interest in feline medicine, management of feline kidney disease, emergency medicine, nutrition, weight management, and plans to promote preventive medicine in her practice.
VetPurrfect Pet Wellness is a referral and invitation-only practice.
